Michele has been telling stories since she could hold a pencil—some might call it a gift, others a lifelong obsession. Her first taste of publishing fame? A hard-hitting exposé on the food court in the 6th grade (journalistic integrity was questionable, but the flair was undeniable). Since then, she’s spent the past 15 years immersed in the world of storytelling, working as a story consultant, screenwriter, and writing coach.

She earned a graduate degree in Counseling Psychology (because she wanted to understand what makes people tick; it's a lifelong lesson.) She studied screenwriting at UCLA and has worked with writers and industry professionals around the world. She has two short films under her belt and has published fiction and nonfiction; she’s spoken on industry panels, hosted writing retreats, and served on the board of the MS Film Alliance.

Michele is also licensed to teach Pixar Animation Camps, where she helps young storytellers bring their ideas to life through digital storytelling. Whether it’s working with seasoned writers battling creative roadblocks or guiding fresh voices, she’s passionate about unlocking the stories waiting to be told.
